April see’s the launch of our Yoga sessions for pre-school on Thursday afternoons.
Our Yoga teacher, Rebecca, will be taking the children on a yoga adventure inspired by children’s stories and themes. The session will finish by encouraging the children to relax and stay calm through the use of calming influences such as peaceful music and lying down on lavender scented pillows.
It has been proven that children derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves. By doing yoga, children exercise, play, connect more deeply with the inner self, and develop an intimate relationship with the natural world that surrounds them.
